Ok I've been on bc for 2 months. My first period on the pill was very heavy and very long. I just finished my 2nd month pack of pills as of yesterday but I haven't got my period yet! Last time I got some reddish discharge that wasn't blood for a couple days before but I'm completely clear now! My last period started a couple days even before my pack was finished. Could I be pregnant? Please if anyone has any ideas please help. We use a condom and he even sometimes pulls out plus I'm on birth control. I havent't been eating a lot of protein lately and I've noticed I've begun to loose some weight. My weight has a big impact on my period. When I lose weight I skip my period. But omg I'm so scared. I'm thinking maybe because my period was SO heavy and long last time it's gonna come later or come for only a couple days and be light or something.
Please help.
Please help.

Don't freak out! Your body is still ajusting to the hormones from the pills. If it makes you feel any better, i sometimes compltley skip my period or it is just really light spotting. I doubt you a preg considering you have been using the pill plus other forms of bc. If you're that worried, take a home pregnancy test. Otherwise, stop freaking out!

Hi poptart_19, welcome!
As the other poster said it is very unlikely that you are pg if you have been taking your pills correctly and if you are using condoms as well then the likelihood is even less. During the first 2-4 cycles on a new pill as you are adjusting to your the hormones Aunt Flo’s arrival will be moving around a bit. Typically for women on hormonal contraceptives she shows between the second and fifth hormone free days. I'll bet you are fine and she will be along any time. If your weight is so low that you have secondary amenorrhea (no periods) that means you are way underweight. Amenorrhea caused by poor nutrition can be very bad for you over the long term as it leads to bone loss and other serious medical conditions. Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
Oh thank you all!!
You really eased my mind!!
What a big help!!
My weight is quite strange though. I'm 5'4" and I'll fluctuate between 116-125 lbs!!! It's not healthy but I've spoken to my doctor about it and she says I'm healthy but I have to eat properly. Anyways, I'm not worried about my weight because my doctor says I am healthy and I eat in moderation and exercise properly.
If I don't get my period what should I do? The pregnancy test idea is kinda scary. I don't even want to imagine the thought of being pregnant.
Thank you all again.
If you don`t get a period, although it`s probably just skipping because of your birth control pill, it`s probably a good idea to take a pregnancy test. I know it`s scary - really scary. But it would be better to know early than finally work up the courage a few months down the road or something, you know?
Even so, with pills and condoms, both being used consistently and correctly, your risk of pregnancy is so low that it`s in the realm of freaking near impossible. Anything could happen, I guess, but it`s super, SUPER unlikely. I imagine that your period will come anytime now, hon. Just give it a few days.
