Patch ripples (in response to my prev.)

I asked about the patch rippling, and someone said it was ok as long as the edges stay stuck. Well, the rippling includes the edge, it ripples all the way out to the edge. Not huge ones, but so that parts of the edge aren't stuck to the skin all the time. Sorry if I sound paranoid, but I just want to be sure I'm not losing effectiveness... thanks!

It's a good idea to get a sense of how much of the actual patch is stuck down. The hormones are transmitted through the adhesive layer, so wherever the patch is in contact with your skin, it's passing hormones through it. If most of the patch is stuck down, you should be good, but I don't know that anybody has come up with a percentage of how much of the patch needs to be stuck down for it to remain effective. You can call the customer help line (1-877-377-3872 is the phone number given on the website) and ask if they have any better information as far as how much is too much.

Good luck!
