What are you reading these days? What have you read lately that you would recommend, or would not recommend?

I'm just thinking of adding some books to my to be read list and I was needing some suggestions!

What's on your bookshelf these days?

I gave Gilbert Morris another chance last week, but still couldn't get into his stories. In "The Honorable Imposter," which he referred to *a lot* in a book about writing, he didn't focus enough on the two main characters. And when he did show their thoughts, there was nothing interesting about them. Nothing really original, just ho-hum. And I stopped trying after the first chapter of "The Sword of Truth" because there wasn't anything to hook me in. Once again, boring!

I'm re-reading "A Gown of Spanish Lace" by Janette Oke. I own all the "Women of the West" books, but they're at my mum's house, since it's been a few years since I read the book last. So far, I'm liking it! Janette pulls me in with an interesting premise, and hasn't failed yet to deliver!

Becca :)
