Time zone changes

Just a question as I travel for business and am wondering how this will affect the time I take the pill. Generally speaking, I take the pill around 8am each morning (of course, I've been doing that for months and realized this morning that I had forgotten yesterday! Took two this morning.). Next month I will be spending a week traveling across the country for work, ending up with a week on the West Coast...unless I'm hoping a plane to some exotic location, I generally try to avoid seeing 5am which is what time I would have to wake up to take the pill.
So, any suggestions? Or do I have to just get up a little early? I realize there is about a two hour window there. If I were to, say, take it at 7am while on the WEst Coast does that work?

Hi lshboston, welcome back!
That should work. The important thing is to take your pills as close to 24 hours (+/-2 hours) apart as possible. As you move across country moving your time by an hour or even two should be ok. If you are in the same time zone for more than a single pill then you are back to taking them 24 hours apart. And that will be the case when you will be on the West Coast for a week. You will be there long enough that, if you wanted to, you could move your time back to 8:00am Pacific time. If you miss a pill this board recommends using back-up until you have taken at least 7 active pills in a row.
Thanks for posting. If you have more questions, ask away. Let us know what you decide, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
