The Ring and Ovulation

Okay, so I just started the ring.....it says it doesn't take affect until 7 days in your system, but you don't ovulate until almost ten, so if I have sex with no BC on day 1 of having the ring in, do I have any chance of getting pregnant?
Also, I know it says that if you have the ring out for more than three hours you can be at risk for pregnany, is that because your ovulation picks up where it left off? Or is it another ten days until you start ovulating again?

Hi sunshineworkinggirl, welcome!

Thanks for all the information. I took the ring out yesterday, because I have been having slight cramping in my abdomen, I have also noticed an amount of creamy white discharge, and just kind of felt like maybe I should take the ring out. Now I am slightly worried that I may infact be pregnant, so I am hesitant to replace the ring until after I see if I get my period or not. I put the ring in on day six of my cycle (day after my period) and I had sex that day, as well as on day ten.....and then of course took my ring out yesterday, day 15. Also, this was my first month on contraceptives, so I am thinking there might be a pretty good chance I could be pregnant.
Should I just wait and see?
