Hi everyone,
I am going threw a big dilema. Last night when I came home I realized that my breasts were lactating. Is this always a sign of pregnancy? I am getting married this year and although I know having a child is a blessing me and my fiance can't afford it right now. I am scared sick. I was told that it could be several reasons like big breast, the pill or if you were ever pregnant before. Is any of this true? Please help.

Thanks,
PRRCR

A few questions for you:

When was your last AF? Are you on birth control? Did you skip any pills or anything that would make you believe you could have gotten pregnant?

Sorry to ask you questions back but, you might not need to worry at all if there isnt a chance.

AF is your period..... Stands for Aunt Flow!!! : )

I would suggest taking a test and calling your doctor.

Did you use back-up while taking the antibiotics? This board recommends using back-up while on all ABs and for at least a week (and sometimes two, depending on the medicine) after the last dose of antibiotic. You might want to take a pregnancy test just to check off one possibility, but you should definitely see your doctor.

Your Galactorrhea could be from something that isn’t serious. When I began lactating (I wasn't pg) my Gyn said it was caused by breast manipulation and nipple stimulation (don’t ask) so you may not have a major problem at all.
