I have been on birth control for 2 years. I have never experianced any spotting or irregual periods. I went on vacation with my husband last week so I decided to not take the placebo pills and went on to day the activie pills of the next pack. This morning I started to spot ALOT. What does this mean? Could I be pregnant? When should i take a pregnacy test? Should I continue with my pills as usual? Thanks

Skipping the placebo pills can cause spotting, and some people still even have a regular period when skipping the placebo pills. As with any form of birthcontrol, other than abstinence, there is always a posibility, but if you have been taking your pills correctly, then you should be okay, and most likely it's just a regular period for you. Go on and continue with the pills, but if you are worried, give your doc a call and see what he says....
Just my opinion though! :)

as long as you've taken the pills correctly before this (not skipping any/taking about the same time every day) you shouldn't be pregnant---but nothing's 100%.....That being said it's probably your body reacting to the "change" in pills-as in you taking the pills differently this time....Sometimes in trying to skip a period this way you risk the chance of btb/spotting....good luck-hope it stops....
