Nuvaring Question

This is my first month on the Nuvaring....... I put the ring in on April 19th and took it out Wednesday May 10th.
I still haven't gotten my period yet?????????? I read you normally get your period about 2-3 days after taking it out. I've had cramps but still nothing!!
This is my first month being on any BC for about 8 months. Can anyone tell me when I should get my period. I'm due to put the ring back in on Wednesday.
Thanks
Melanie

Hi Melanie - sorry I can't help with your question. I just wandered on to this board myself with the same kind of question of my own.
I have the same sort of situation here - I took mine out on the 11th and still no period (or cramps). Just curious as to when I should be looking for BFP, lol.

It is possible to skip periods unintentionally with Nuvaring, especially because the estrogen dose is so low.
Thank you......... I got AF about 11pm last night.
Thank you for the reply - still no AF but I did take a pg test and it was negative. I had a pregnancy end at 9wks back in March that was conceived while on BCP... so I guess I am just paranoid that my BC failed again. Also, I intentionally skipped a period last month using the ring, so I am now on the '1' week of a 3/3/1 cycle with the ring. Other than that neither ring was out for any period of time and I haven't taken any medications at all, much less any that would interfere with the effectiveness of BC. I would have had to have conceived around 4/10 if I were pg, and I would expect to have a positive pg test if that were the case.
Ok, not that you needed all that info - I'm just reassuring myself that it's more unlikely than it is likely that I could be pg at this time. (right?) Thanks for "listening."
If you had conceived on 4/10, I would think you'd definitely have a ++ by now if you were pregnant!
Everything is on track for now! I have an appt later this month for a TL - I'm looking forward to not having *this* particular stress anymore ('cause I know I have plenty of other stress in life as it is, lol).
Thanks again for responding.
