Ortho Lo & Yeast Infections

Has any one else had this problem with Ortho? (Not problems with bleeding, just Yeast infection)

I started the generic brand for Ortho Tri Cyclen(TriSprintec) back in March with no problems. In April, I combined two sample packs of the actual Ortho Tri Cyclen to reschedule my period.

Although I've never had a problem with TriSprintec, from first week I was on the Ortho Lo I had Yeast Infection symptoms. I treated it with medicine and after a week or two it went away. Then I started my period, and it lasted three weeks (breakthrough bleeding the first, barely their the second, actual period the third).

When it came time to begin taking the pill again, I finished the first week of Ortho from my last pack, then began with the TriSprintec left over from the first week of April.

Should I wait and see if things go back to normal in a week or two or should I try and treat it again? Also, I know this is way out in left field, but are their any STD's that you can come in contact with in every day conditions that might cause this? A lady I work with has Herpes (According to the rumor mill of course) and that's been in the back of my mind too.

It wasn't the bleeding I was worried about, just the connection of a Yeast infection and the pill or conbination there of. I know the bleeding was because of being on the pill for a longer amount of time. I took them in order of 11,22,3,4. And had my period during the forth week (2) and the placebo's(4)

Some women on some pills can have more issues with yeast.
