Walk My Talk

The man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it-he will be blessed in what he does. ~James 1:25~

Child of Mine,

>Many Christians "talk a good game," but their actions don't follow their talk. They can quote chapter and verse of the Bible on forgiveness, for instance, but if you could see into their hearts, you would find unforgiveness hiding there.

My child, studying the Word and following it are both important to me. How will you know me if you don't read my words? And how will you honor me if you don't follow them? My words are words of freedom, but they can't free you from anything unless you take them off the page and put them into practice. Beginning today, my child, I want you to take my Word personally and practice it daily. Learn to walk, and then walk the walk.

The One Who Speaks,

>God
