Hi. I am 19 yrs old and I have been taking Microgestin Fe 1.5/30 birth control pills for about 6 months now. My boyfriend will be studying abroad for a year, so I dont plan on being sexually active during then. I am deciding to go off the pill, and am currently on my third week, but since i was busy with finals I missed two of them. I have not taken the missed pills yet, but since I have only four pills remaining in the pack, would it be alright to stop them now? Also, what possible side effects can I expect when I stop? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

You could stop them now, the only difference is that your period should come within a few days of you stopping, not at its usual time.
