>I know the longing of every Christian mother's heart is that her children would come to know me. That longing is also mine. I wait for the day when each one will run into my arms, because your children are my children too.
But they cannot come to me clinging to the coattails of your faith. Each one must find his or her own faith and make his or her own choice. I have promised to bring your children home and pour out my Spirit on them. But it's not up to you to make those promises come true. You can't nag your children into my arms. Instead, cling to my promises, praying in faith, and watch them turn toward home.
