Time to tell the doc?

Hi, I've been on birth control (the pill) for a few months now with no problems. However, recently i've been having headaches that lasted for awhile. The label says to stop if you have severe headaches so as a precaution i stopped taking the pill. My headaches seem to have gone although i'm not so sure, I've had a few where i think it's due to sleep issues which could mean my headaches have nothing to do with my birthcontrol. But i'm wondering, what do they mean by 'severe headaches'? I'm not sure if this is something i need to talk to my doctor ASAP mostly because even with the headaches i am still fully functional. I can still concentrait on my work and my vision isn't blurry or anything.I just read the other page about birth control side effects and it says to contact doctor immediatly if i have a severe headache that impairs my vision. My vision is fine, i think, but the headaches are reoccuring about every day. Am i worried over nothing? Or maybe my headaches could be due to other factors? My sleeping habit hasn't really changed, I'm not stressed any more (school is ending, finals are over) My diet doesn't seem to have changed all that much except for a period of crash course dieting but that has led to a healthy balanced diet since then. I'm just confused at whether or not i need to see a professional about this, or if i can just wait out another cycle and start the pill again.

It never hurts to talk to the doctor and get his/her opinion on the issue.
Phone calls are cheap!
