For those of us who have been using BCP's of any type for any amount of time, I ask you this, do you ever worry about the possibility of pregnancy? Is your faith in the method you use so strong that you never think about it?

Thanks!

I've been on many different kinds of bc, but now I worry a lot less than I used to. I've been on bc pills for about 6 years now (as my only method of bc). When I first got married I used to panic EVERY month until I got my period. Within the last year or so I've changed a lot of my worldviews and I'm now pro-choice so I don't lose a wink of sleep about it anymore. My DH feels a lot better about it now too. I also think your mind has a lot of control over your body. I think if a person fixates on the thought of pregnancy a lot that they may be at a higher risk of getting pregnant, just as I think a lot of women who are super-fixated on trying to get pregnant have a really hard time with it. Of couse there is no proof to back such a thing up, but I think our mind has more power than we realize.

I agree with you that I could never do the Seasonale route because I like the assurance of getting a period every month to know that I am doing it correctly. I have faith in my BCP for the most part, but every now & then I get a tad bit anxious because what if's start in my mind.
