I have been on the pill for years. I started on Ortho Novum 7/7/7, made me feel like a crasy person and had a sick to my stomach feeling the entire time. Went to Alesse, short term to much BTB. Ortho-Cyclen for a few years, felt great but then the BTB, Irreg Bleeding, spotting (what is the difference anyway?), more times than not. Finally to date taking Lo-Ovral on my third pack. This pill makes me feel like the Ortho Novum 7/7/7. Why would that be?
Again, thanks!

All of the pills you've taken have different progestins in them, that can make a big difference in how you respond to each one.
As always, thanks for your response. The bleeding I have is on the toilet tissue only, not even really pad worthy. Would this be considered irregular?
Also, is it normal (whatever that is when we are hormonally controlled) to feel just a little nauseous just after taking your pill. It makes sense to me that while it is "getting into your system" you may have a little stomach upset. It seems that I only feel a little lousy for a couple of hours after taking my pill. To my memory, I have only noticed this with the Lo/Ovral. Hopefully being my 3rd pack things will begin to level out. Have you every experienced this?
Thanks!
That sounds like just a little spotting.
Lastly, if I choose to change my pill time to night (which I am leaning towards),(keep in mind I doubled up pills Fri am due to a slight bowel upset taking from my current pack moving my start date from Sunday to Saturday on my next pack)should I:
Placebo week to begin Saturday 6/17/06:
A. Usually take pill at 9a.m. want to change to evening let's say 9p.m.
B. Do I begin this new schedule (after placebos) on my new start date Saturday at 9p.m. meaning I would be starting my new pack 12 hours late
OR
C. Take my pill a day early (shortening placebos by one)Friday beginning my new time at 9p.m. meaning I would be starting my new pack 12 hours earlier
I am thinking option C would be the best.
As always, thanks!
