Love Seasonale??

Hi there. I'm new to the message boards, but have been on ivillage for a while now. I would like to know if anyone out there just LOVES Seasonale. I bleed heavy 5-11 days each month. I talked to my primary doctor and he suggested Seasonale. I went to my GYN and he suggested just a regular pill, Alesse. I do not do well with the Ortho's or Mircette--feeling sick, mad, and not wanting hubby to come near me. Plus I have come across some women experiencing depression with Alesse. I took the pill yesterday (it said within 24 hours of starting my period or on Sunday). After 6 hours I became very lightheaded, dizzy, sick to my stomach so I went straight to bed. Today I feel ok. I'm going to start taking it at 5p everyday.

Anyway......Please feel free to respond or email me with your response. I understand there may the breakthrough bleeding, but most I have read, that it does/did go away. I'm always looking for the 'perfect' pill. I did great with the patch for the first year, went off for about 10 months, went back on and stayed sick with headaches. I have not been on BC for over a year. I am not taking it for contraception, just to control the monthly flow and ovarian pain from ovulating.

Thanks for everything! Can't wait to get to know other ladies in the same boat.

I really like seasonale. Sometimes I spot during weeks 11 or 12, but that's not a big deal to me. Not having periods every months is very nice :)
