Seasonale???

Ok, I have some concerns about Seasonale. I had a tubal ligation 4 years ago, and until recently, everything was fine. I was having severe abdominal pain, so after seeing my ob/gyn, I found out I have a a condition called Mittelschmerz, in other words, midcycle ovulation pain. So he prescribed me Seaonale to prevent me from ovualtion. After reading up on it, I discovered the breakthrough bleeding side effect. I'm wondering if I would even have a problem with it. When I was on the pill before my tubal, I never had 1 problem. No weight gain, sickness or breakthrough bleeding. But in between the pill I tried the shot, and had non stop bleeding for almost a year. So I'm wondering with my past, am I going to have a problem with breakthrough bleeding. Any comments on this matter for me will be greatly appreciated.

I have very little spotting mid-pack on seasonale. Sometimes I will spot during the last 2 weeks of my cycle, but not enough to be an issue.

My guess is that you're going to have to try it and see what happens.

Good luck!
