"Withdrawal" method - do you ever use it?

  • Ladies - Never. It's too risky
  • Ladies - Rarely. And only because no other BC was available
  • Ladies - when I was younger, but never now
  • Ladies - not as a "method", but only because I like to watch him shoot
  • Ladies - my guy likes to pull out and squirt, but not as BC
  • Guys - Never. It's too risky
  • Guys - Rarely. And only because no other BC was available
  • Guys - when I was younger, but never now
  • Guys - I like to pull out and shoot occasionally
  • Guys - My DW/GF will request that I pull out so she can watch me ejaculate

Just for clarification…

I know this was posted over a week ago now... but I just wanted to chime in as someone who got pregnant using this "method" of birth control, when I was a teenager. Some (many?) men do release a few fully-functioning sperm before ejaculation. It's not just something people say to scare you. =]

I'll add that guys, if they're not using a condom, can never be sure that the girl that they're having sex with is really on the pill, for example. (Even the pill isn't 100% effective.) The only positive thing that can be said about withdrawal is that it does decrease the chance of pregnancy. But clearly, as you can personally attest, it's a very risky "method" to rely on.
