Anyone here had the Essure procedure.(m)

I went to my dr's office and was visiting with her about getting my tubes tied and she told me about this new procedure.
It is done in the office and your recovery time is way less. It is where they put micro-inserts into the fallopian tubes and then the body tissue grows into the inserts, blocking your fallopian tubes.
It actually is more effective than a tubal ligation. Most of all it appeals to me because I don't have to be under anesthia for this.
I just wanted to find out if anyone here had it done??
It is fairly new in the U.S. I know Australia started the procedure back in 1998.

Hi
Jill
Jill-
Thank you so much for doing that for me.
I greatly appreciate it.
It was very nice getting to read a few responses from "real" people.
Thanks again.
