birth control and breastfeeding

What birth control is available to breastfeeding moms? I know about the mini-pill, but what about other methods? I also know how to do natural family planning, but don't really want to do that at the moment. My baby is 6 days old, and we will be talking birth control at my 6 week appt. So, I want to research my options and see which are available through my insurance company. I was on the minipill with the two boys. So, I want to know about other methods. We want more children someday, but not sure when. I know that I want Libby to be at least a year old before we begin trying, and even then it will depend on our situation. We need a new place to live and a larger vehicle. So, I want to be on birth control until Elizabeth is at least 10 months old, possibly later depending on how long it takes us to get into a house and get a bigger car. So, what's out there for me, and what are the pros and cons?

Take a look into Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM), it would only be effective for no more than 6 months. No personal experience with it, but thought I'd pass it on since I read it somewhere.
