Issues with contacts on the Nuvaring

Hello all -
So here's my deal. After adjusting to other side effects of the Nuvaring, I'm running into a rather annoying problem - I can't wear my contacts for more than a few hours. They get blurry and uncomfortable, and although I can usually fix that by taking them out, rinsing them off, and putting them back in, it's becoming a nuisance.

Has anybody else experienced this, or found a solution to it? Is there a solution other than sticking with glasses? I haven't called my eye doctor on this yet, because I'm not sure there's really anything that he could do to change that.

Any input is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Have you been on the pill prior to using Nuvaring?

Now that you mention it, when I first got contacts I used to have no issues with them, but I started having problems around the time I got my Mirena IUD.

I used to be on the pill, but that was before I got contacts, so I'm not too sure. Maybe I'll call Eye Doc if it gets that bad... I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do besides change my BC.

I used to use Acuvue 2 lenses, and just recently changed to Focus Night and Day (the ones you can leave in for up to 30 days).
