Temperature possibly affecting Pills?

I just started a new pack of Yasmin. I have since lost the package insert, but I remember reading that it had directions for the temperature at which to store the pills. The range was from 59 F to 86 F. I am sure it never gets above 86 in our apartment (we have A/C), but on weekends we usually go to a trailer on Lake Erie that doesn't have air conditioning. And like a lot of North America, we are having a heat wave here in southern Ontario with temperatures at times in the 90s. Should I worry about what that might do to the pills' effectiveness?

i don't really have an answer to your question, but i know that when iw as on the patch, i stored it in too hot/humid of an environment, and the way my body reacted to it changed ( i developed a bad skin rash and had to switch back to the pill.) so i dont really know about the pill, but obviously a lot of research goes into what they put in the insert, and it should be followed exactly. you could probably find out on the pill's website though.
