Hello!

I have been on Nuvaring for a few month and I am NEVER going back to the pill. You simple insert it inside you, keep it in for 21 days, take it out for 7 then put it back in. There are no daily pills to take, I don't feel it inside me and either does my partner when we have sex. No more stress about taking pills on time etc. You can take Nuva ring out for 3 hours a day if need be and its the best thing invented for birth control! Good Luck!

I didn't like it. It made everything great for the first months, no pms pains or anything. then i started getting deblitating migranes with my period that would last the first 2 days. I couldnt go to work, school or even sleep. Another complaint would be the raw spot inside me where it sat for 21 days, which made sex more and more like an inside rug burn. I'm off it now, it was great for awhile and a great concept, but it just wasn't right for me. good luck ladies

I'm starting my third month on the nuvaring and I give it an 8 outta 10. When I started it, it made me absolutely crazy. But I gave it a chance figuring the horomones needed to chill a bit. Once the craziness stopped (in the process I ended a relationship and almost ruined a friendship... bad), it was great! It's super easy for gals like me who can barely remember to put deoderant on in the morning, nevermind take a pill.

It has slipped out during sex, but it's real easy to rinse off and pop back in (of course you'd insert a new one if it were in the third week, I guess. Mine slipped out within the first couple days of the three-week period.).

I highly recommend it and I figure there's definite horomonal adjustment with any BC.

New to the ring myself, i've only been using it for two months, but i have to say that i LOVE it! It almost seems too easy. You don't have to do anything but remember when to put it in and take it out. As a mom of two (1 & 3) the less i have to remember/do, the better!!! I had not been on any birth control for about 5 years so i did have some "normal" side effects the first month, but this second month seems to be better still. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I love love love it, I've been on it for about a year, and it's great. I take the ring otu on a friday and 6 days later af shows up. My period is only about 4-6 hours long and I never get cramps. One thign that was kinda scarey is that I have ahd 2 or 3 months where I never got a period, but hey not having af is fun too :) good luck
