Going off the Pill

I've been on the pill (alesse) for about a year and a few months. I took it to regulate my blood flow and control my acne. I'm thinking of going off it. I don't think I gained much weight when I started to take it but I feel bloated more than before. I heard that if you go off the pill, your periods may take time to be regular and hormones to balances, so I should expect to be moody. But I also heard women saying they've lost weight, is this true? Has anyone had this experience? Please feel free to share your stories, I'd appreciate it!!!

It's possible that you would be less bloated if you stopped the pill, but perhaps not right away.

I agree with everything that's already been said. Also, since I hear Alesse is unavailable right now, this is a good time to think about all this (depending on how many packs you have left right now) and decide on either stopping or switching. And even if you're not ready to make an immediate decision to come off, this would be a good opportunity to try something else ... well, because you've got to. You might find you get results you're looking for from another Pill.
