I just started NuvaRing today...

I am just wanting to make sure that it is normal to kinda feel strange when starting a new form of birth control. It's been awhile since I have taken something different than the pill, so I think its just my body adjusting to the ring. I feel slightly nauseous though and kinda dizzy, did anyone else feel like this while starting the ring?

Another question I have which is kinda personal but I will ask anyways, if you do use the ring and don't have sex with a condom, do you let your man cum inside of you?

It wouldn't be called birth control if you couldn't have sex with it!

I'm not on the ring, and I know a lot of people are, so my post might not be so helpful, but I started a pill a few weeks ago and I was pretty nauseous for the first week or so that I was on it. I was also very dizzy for the first few days. I take it at night and the morning after my first pill, I almost passed out on the subway on my way to work, I was so dizzy (and it was really hot, and I didn't have a seat...). I've been on it for about two and a half weeks now, and no more problems. I haven't had any other side effects either. I don't think it's abnormal at all - your body is adjusting to the new hormones. I'd wait it out a little bit and see what happens.
