I've been on YAZ for just a little over two weeks, now. I haven't had any problems with it at all. For the first few days I was pretty nauseous, and I was kind of dizzy in the mornings, but that went away. I also had to pee a lot, and I think that is because the pill is derived from a diuretic, which makes you pee... that's wound down though. On other pills I've been on (Alesse and Ortho-Tricyclen Lo), my moods were out of control and I cried ALL the time. I also experienced those side effects almost immediately and for the entire time I took the pill. I've read in some places that side effects of YAZ and Yasmin take longer to show up... hopefully I won't have any, but I'm going to wait 3 months before saying it's a great pill. Right now, I think it is, though.
I have been on YAZ for a little over two weeks. I was a little nauseous the first couple of days, but I think that might've just been my being nervous about going on the pill for the first time. The only other negative side effect I have experienced was some spotting for several days after my period would normally have been over. My breasts are a little tender but nothing I can't handle. So far, so good. I haven't had any terrible side effects at all. With luck, it'll be smooth sailing!
