Scared as hell, please someone help me

Im 17 and i use the pill, originally i used it for acne, but now its as a contraceptive .
Iv have been with my boyfriend for quite some time, and everything is going great.
But sometimes my period date has fell onto a bad day - such as his birthday, so what i have done sometimes, is instead of letting myself go on my period during those seven days - i have continued to stay on my pill and purposefully skipping my period for that month.
Up to last wekk i had done it twice in a row, and was going to delay my third missed period one more week as my boyfriend starts uni next week and i didnt want my period to ruin our precious time together.
So i continued taking my pill last week, then after an amazing night on sunday - i woke up monday morning and a had started bleeding, so that was monday, i continued taking my pill hoping it would stop but it hasnt and now i am at sunday - i have one more week before he goes to uni, one more week of privacy, i want it to stop but im so scared.
Is there a danger to what i have been doing? i had only missed two - and was trying to miss a third period, but now im bleeding, quite a bit - as if i got three periods at once.
I am actually coming off my pill full stop next monday - so i can have normal periods and that i wont put myself at risk of doing this again.
One thing i am scared of is, well i had a nightmare that doing this and bleeding now - meant that i couldnt have kids, me and my boyfriend have dicussed our future and everything, i work with kids and love them, i couldnt bear it if i couldnt have them myself.
Please can someone tell me that im just being over dramatic and worrying too much, that i will still be able to have kids if i just dont miss periods again.
Im so scared.
If it helps the pill that i am taking is called Diannete.
I really need some confort - being up to a week and still bleeding, i am very scared now.
Thank you.
Amy

I don't know anything about the specific pill you are on, but from what I've read about pills in general, what you are doing is not really dangerous. I personally would be uncomfortable doing it (I'm already messing with my hormones; I don't want to do it any more than I need to!), but I think it's okay. A lot of people have breakthrough bleeding when on BC in general. If that's never happened to you, something MAY be wrong, but probably not. If you are really worried, we can't diagnose problems on here, so just go see a gynocologist. It may just be that your body doesn't want you to skip periods! I wouldn't worry too much about it, but it's easy for me to say that when it isn't happening to me! Like I said, see a doctor if you are concerned, but try not to stress too much.
You also might want to reconsider going off the pill just because of this. If you are serious with your bf and don't want to use condoms, you obviously need to be on something. Just go back to your normal pill schedule and understand that for a few days a month, you either don't have sex, or you have it even though you're bleeding. Good luck!

It's okay, hon. More than likely, you're experiencing break-through bleeding. I've never heard of this specific bc, but it happens alot when you try to skip periods esp. if its a pill with muliple levels of hormones in 1 month. I don't think your fertility is in jeopardy, its just that your body isn't used to skipping periods.
