Should I be concerned!?!?

Ok so I have a very serious concern...and I don't know if I should be worried or not. I just started taking Yaz recently, and before I took it my periods were always very regular and light, usually only 2-4 days, or around that. Anyways, Yaz only has 4 placebo pills at the end, it is a 24 day cycle. So I just finished my 3rd pill pack, and last month I got my period on the 3rd placebo day, and it only lasted less than a day...maybe a day and a few hours, but not long at all. This month, I didn't get my period at all. I think there may have been a little tiny bit of blood I noticed on the last day of my pill pack, but it was only a drop or 2. I have had sex more often than usual this past month, but have used condoms EVERY TIME and taken my pill regularly, not missed one, and always on time, the same time every night. What my friends are telling me is that since I already had a very light period that it is just now getting into my system and that since it is made for people with heavier periods that this will just cut mine down to practically nothing...I am having premenstrual symptoms, a little nausea, but nothing terrible that makes me think I may be pregnant...and I already started my next pack, so I know it's not coming, even though I have felt like it was for days now...so I am just really confused because I have never missed a period and I mean it is great if this pill will cut it down to nothing but I just want to know if this is normal...I am being so safe, safer than anyone else I know, which is why I am a little confused and just need some answers, PLEASE!!! Sorry this is so lengthy, but this is all new to me...Thanks for any help!!

If its negative, its negative. It could just be that you didn't pee enough on the stick. And I don't think that brand has any effect. I've used just about any brand from the Wal-Greene's kind to Target brand to the grocery store generic brand! LOL A negative is the same anywhere.
If you are worried wait a week and test again. But if you are using condoms, I don't see where the problem is. Plus you are on the pill. So those two methods together should kill any super sperm that swim your way.
Like the previous poster said, it sounds like your body is just adjusting. Plus, isn't YAZ using a different hormone than traditional BCPs? That could be what its all about.
Relax. You're pregnancy-proofed! :)
