Well i am on yet another pill due to break through bleeding and my doct doesn't seem to care - I mean its only been happening after my insurance company forced generic drugs on us (sorry but they aren't the same as brand)
I have had break through pretty much every month, more moody, longer periods, increased breast size (an d trust me for someone who had a reduction that is NOT a good thing)
So now they switched me to yasmine and its costing even more than other brand name ones and not promise it will fix the damn problem.
I wish i could just get the overies taken out and be done with it, but they won't due that as its hard enough getting them to let me tie my tubes...
grrr
so...any thoughts on this drug???? am i scrw and going to have to get another reduction due to a *******g pill..
sorry...just really mad at my doctor and Ins right now

Hi
Jill
Hi and thanks for the welcome....
To clarify some things..yes I want a tubal and am working on raising the funds to do it and find a doctor willing to do it as I have never had kids and don't want them (i am in my mid 30's)
>>they won't due that as its hard enough getting them to let me tie my tubes...<<
Little sarcasm in that if its hard to find a doc to let you tie tubes, harder just to make it so there are no more menstruation cycles....
I had been on Mircette, Ortho Cylin, then Ins Co said I had to go on the generic of that - Sprintec and tried that for several months 7-8 months and then doc moved me to Apri for the last 4 months.
After a melt down on the phone with his nurse this morning they put in a script for Yasmine...
The meltdown was based on how frustrating it is for me knowing I have a great BF who i am intimate with and now two weeks of the month, no sex for us...He has been cool about it, but frankly we both have high drives and don't really like doing it when AF is in town...now add break through which is about 5 days of bleeding (noticeable until gone)
it also doesn't help that since the ins company made me do generic, my breast size increased to almost where it was pre surgery and now i have no idea how to get them to get reduced without shelling out a fortune for a reduction AGAIN
