Hey ya'll.
My period finally came much to my chagrin. I'm relieved but at the same time loathing it. Before pregnancy, my periods were god awful. Cramps so bad I couldn't get out of bed. I'd toss my cookies for half the day, too. I went on BCP soon after having my son but didn't like Micronor. I had a period every other week. Seasonale was great b/c it was only 4 periods a year. Ha. I had break-through bleeding that lasted a month. So it was like a continuous period. Plus my blood pressure was sky-high and it aggitated my migraines.
I'm in the market for a new form of BC until DH and I are ready to TTC (1-2 years). What's the best method to avoid all of the above? What's the safest and most effective? And what's least likely to clash with my thyroid medication? And what's the easiest to take?

Hi jenniekg, welcome!
