I've asked my partner to wear a condom during sex, even though I'm on the pill. He asked recently if we could try it w/o the condom. Is it necessary? Am I being OVER protective? I don't want to get pregnant though... Thought about getting a diaphram or cervical cap...but if it's not necessary, then I'd be saving a lot of money.

Also, what should I expect from having sex w/o the condom? Whats the best way to "clean up" afterwards?

Again, anything to reduce the likely hood of my getting pregnant is a good thing.

If you both haven't been tested for STD's (assuming that you're not each other's firsts at everything), then you should keep using a condom until you get that done.
