Vacation and Taking Pill On Time

I will be going on vacation and the new time zone will mean taking my pill during sleeping hours. Do I have to maintain my schedule or can I adjust it by 3-4 hours earlier/later? Can I just change the pill time the first day of my vacation and then follow that schedule throughout? I would then bring it back to my schedule upon return.

Thanks so much for your responses. Based on what you've said, i'm fine on the way there (traveling from NY to Europe), however will need to adjust on the way back. Here's the question - I'm due to start a new pack & take pill #1 (first active pill) on the travel day. In order to take within 24 hours of the last inactive pill, i would have to go "off" my normal schedule. Since it is pill 1, could i take it at my normal time...which would put me 30 hours after the last (again, inactive) pill? I think that might be ok, but could you let me know? Thanks!

Thanks again for the reply. I think I will maintain my schedule and just be sure to use back-up or abstain for the 7 days. I'm on an antibiotic anyway and, per the reco of this board, will need to use back-up for 7 active pill days after my last antibiotic. Since i'll be finishing up the medication just as my inactive pills start, it seems as if the two periods - 7 days after antibiotic/7 days to cover any potential lapses - coincide.
