What Should I Use??

I am looking into a birth control to use but i wasnt sure what i should use. I am 18 and never had kids before. I was thinking about using Depo-Provera or the IUD. I am open to suggestions that anyone may have.

From personal experience having tried both Depo and the IUD. Go with the IUD. I very highly do not recommend the IUD. I gained weight and had horrible migrains daily on it after about the first year. I really don't recommend Depo, and find very few people who have been on it long who do. I have had an IUD, Mirena, for about 3 weeks now and I like it. I'm 22, I have never had kids nor been pregant, was in a relationship of sorts when I got it but it has since ended, and didn't have any problems finding a doctor willing to put one in. In fact it was my doctors suggestion even before I was in any relationship. I did have some problems getting it in. It wouldn't go in the first time, after that I did have to proad my doctor a bit to write a prescription to open the cervix a bit and try again. But you can find doctors to do them with out having kids first.
Good luck with figuring it out!
