Why are uniary infections common when taking the birth control pill? I've had a background of bladder infections ever since I was little, I haven't had them for a few years, but I'm wondering why people can also get bladder or yeast infections while on the pill?

There isn't anything documented, as far as I'm aware, but we know that in some people there are more infections of both the vagina and the bladder when they're on the pill.

That makes sense! I have noticed how the pill causes you to be more dry, is it still fine to have sex even though you're more dry?

Yes it's still safe but you may need to use an artificial lube like Astroglide, Replens, etc. and don't be afraid to use plenty of it.
