So kissed , and they lifted up their voices and wept. And they said to her, "Surely we will return with you to your people." ~Ruth 1:9-10~

My Dear Daughter,

>When you marry, you become part of an extended family. Your husband's parents become your parents. Likewise, when your children marry, their mates become your children. Whether you find them easy or difficult to love, your choice to love them will affect many generations to come.

Look at the chain of events I brought from Naomi's loving relationship with her Moabite daughter-in-law, Ruth. After Ruth's husband's death, she followed Naomi to Israel. There she married Boaz and had a son named Obed, who became the grandfather of Kind David. And it was from David's line that Jesus himself was born. Naomi's choice to embrace and care for Ruth and Ruth's choice to lovingly honor her mother-in-law ultimately provided a family for my Son. My daughter, let me use your love for you in-laws to bless your family.

The Lord Of Families,
