My doctor gave me a three-month sample of Seasonale to try, as I'd started to get more and more of the symptoms that run in the family during cycles, such as migraines, extreme lethargy, etc. After a month of taking it,

This would not be a period, this would be breakthrough bleeding.

BTDT! I bled and spotted for 11 weeks! I almost gave up.

My doctor said to just keep taking it (I think I called him about 10 times in a month). I'm glad I did. I have finally stopped bleeding, even if it's only been a week.

I am very happy with symptom control with this pill. I had very heavy, painful periods, extreme lethargy, panic, headache (not much impovement there, yet), ovulation pain, painful urination and bowels, and sore, swollen breasts. All of these symptoms are gone! Yay!

So, stick with it for 3 months (are you taking it continuous? I am.) and you'll see a difference.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. Yes, I'm taking it continuously, and I'm still taking Seasonale, even though this month is about to drive me nuts. 11 weeks! I hope not! I'm on week 4 of the bleeding and week 8 of Seasonale. I haven't noticed that much difference in symptoms yet, but I'm holding out hope. Thanks for the encouragement and the BTDT story!
