Considering stopping BC

Okay...so I really hate taking pills or having any type of synthetic anythings in my body...but I gave it a shot for the sake of lesser cramps. For about a month and a half I have been on OrthoTriCyclen Lo, I love that it never made me sick or anything, but it took away my precious sex drive and I am very dry, to the point where it's almost uncomfortable even when I'm not having sex. I am sad because I really wanted this to work but I cant stand the moodiness and not having my sex drive. I am wondering first off if the lower libido is something that may go away if I give it another month or so? But most importantly, sinc3 I have only been on the pill (or any pill, I'm a first timer) for less than 2 months (I am going to finish out this pack) what side effects can I expect? I have been clicking through the polls and read about women having migranes, and bleeding right away and stuff, but these are people who have been on the pill for years, or are older (I am in my young 20's) So I am wondering if I can expect the same or what? Thank you for any advice.

If you are having issues with vaginal lubrication, that's not something that is going to improve over time.

Ugh, I took O-Lo for about 6 months and I hated it! I was dry as ever and had no sex drive at all (I was insatiable before it! LOL).... So, I had my doc give me a Rx for Seasonale and I love it. My drive returned to normal within the first three weeks or so and I'm not dry anymore (saving tons of money on the lube now). Oh, I also save a ton on feminine care products too! It's so worth it, but there are possible negative side effects, none of which I had since I switched from O-Lo. When you switch, you seem to have a lower risk for the side effects (from what I've read from other users and experienced myself). Good luck on whatever you decide!
