Open your homes to each other, without complaining. Each of you has received a gift to use to serve others. Be good servants of God's various gifts of grace. ~1 Peter 4:9-10~

My Child,

>If you have four walls, a roof, and a front door where guests may enter, don't take it for granted. In a world where many homeless and hungry, a home is a precious tresure, meant to be shared. It can be a castle or a cabin, an elaborate townhouse or a tiny apartment. However large or small, however elegant or plain, if you call it home, it is a gift. And if those within your walls love each other and love me, your home can be a tiny outpost of Heaven in a reckless world.

When you want to ask people in, make your guest list prayerfully. Don't invite only those friends with whom you feel comfortable. Include some who need ministry and some who need friends. Then throw open your doors and watch me work.

Your Guest at the Table,
