Hi. Ok this will be weird but please try to see where im coming from, if u can. I AM TRYING TO CONCEIVE. Im also on BC (ortho cyclen). U may be wondering "Well why are u on BC then?" Well the answer is quite clear. I may have endometriosis (said the doctor but didnt test for it) and I have really heavy periods with bad cramping. And bc clears up the shedding blood off the tubes and stuff in ur body. So I decided to start the pill again after being off for 1 year. This is my second month on them. I am now in week 2 of my pills, which is like day 8 or 9 of my period. It usually (even when i was takin bc before) didnt last this long. Well, i become fertile tommorow (says mymonthlycycles.com) and stopped taking my pill like yesterday, hoping to become pregnant. I just dont want my period to stay on or come back from stopping. Should i take one every other day or just stop? Like i said, i ovulate in 4 days. Thanks.

Hi kk_13_04,

If you only stopped taking the BC pill yesterday, then I very much doubt you ovulate in four days time.

I would stop.....((HUGS)) best of luck....I know bad periods are awful to deal with(I've had them) but to get pregnant (safely) you gotta be off birth control....I'd stop taking the pills and then go see my dr and let him/her know you're TTC
