Has anyone ever used Seasonale? Any comments, good or bad?
Also, I noticed that there is now Seasonique, which instead of a placebo for your period week, actually has a lower level of estrogen. What are the benefits of having some estrogen during your "period" week instead of no hormone?
I was on different Ortho pills for five years and in the last two years experienced regular mid-cycle bleeding. I gave up and actually got off the pill six months ago, but it has been hard to find another method that works for me and my husband (we like spontaneity and I suspect I'm allergic to spermicides). I did get a chance to prove that the mid-cycle bleeding was all related to the pill and not my own body, which I was concerned about. So I'm ready to explore other hormonal options that may decrease the side effects I was seeing.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

We've had a lot of women stop by with comments on Seasonale.
