Is it bad or okay to swallow it with pop? I did that last night because there was nothing else around the time I needed to take it.
Another question, I started my pill on the sunday of my period, and a few weeks ago I didn't take my pill until an hour later of my usual time. I read the the pamphlet that came with the pill and it didn't specify how long is considered a missed pill, so I freaked out and took two pills, so now my pills start or end on a Saturday because that's the day when I took two, so I have to put the weekly stickers that come with my pill so that it says its starting on a saturday instead of Sunday. Later I found out that 24 hours is considered a missed pill, not only one or two hours. Oops. I don't think that I overdosed though or made it less effective, right? Is this okay that it says it starts/ends on a Saturday now?

I've done it!
Ah, good!
Well, I'm taking the 28 day but since I don't take the 7 inactive pills and keep taking the red active pills, it probably would be considered 21 pills per pack that I take even though there's really 28. So I really haven't missed any, I just take them continously, so once I'm on my last pill of the packet I go get a refill.
Oh I thought of one more question. The first bc pill that my dr. put me on, I tried for a month or two, then I went to the scheduled appointment, and he switched me to a different brand that had a higher level of estrogen so that I wouldn't break through bleed because he said you can stop bleeding completely. So I'm on this new one that he switched me to, and I sometimes have BTB but very little and not as much as the first pill. I have an appointment/checkup coming up on the 22nd, do you think I need to switch again or is the one I'm on fine even though I'm having a little bit of BTB? And do I need to tell him about the two pills I took in the same night because I thought I had missed one even though I didn't?
If you're taking the pill continuously (skipping all the placebos), some breakthrough bleeding wouldn't be unusual.
If I want to switch my pill...
I have a dr. appointment on the 22nd. Saturday I got a new pill pack, I took it to the movies with me since I take my pill at 9 every night, and they somehow fell out of my purse, and my pharmacy isn't open today, I really don't want to miss one because I thought that missing one makes the pill less effective.
Is there anyway I can just not take them for this month, then when I go to my dr. tell him that I want to switch to a different pill?
I also don't really understand what makes the pill less effective, if me not taking my pill tonight is going to make it less effective, I don't want to miss it. So what can I do?
