I take my pill at 9pm every night, so I put my bc pills in my purse tonight since I went to a movie with my mom. I took my pill while the movie was still going on, I snuck the pack under my coat, then I put the pack back in my purse. I just looked in my purse to put my pill pack away, and they're gone. I searched my car and everything. I dunno what I'm going to do. I don't want to miss a pill, I haven't yet, I'm so worried. My pharmacy isn't open tomorrow, I just got my refill of my pill pack today. What am I supposed to do?
What if I take my prescription (well, the sticker that comes on the package, it says how many refills I need before a certain date and says who my Dr. is) to a different pharmacy, but I doubt they would give me a refill, but mine must have fell out, and I really really don't want to miss a pill.
*Panic*
I can't believe it! =(

Don't panic!
Well nevermind about the last post. I just called a different pharmacy to ask them and they said there's nothing they can really do since I've never had a prescription there before. The lady told me to just go to my pharmacy tomorrow and then take two pills to make up for the one I'll miss tonight.
I'm really worried about doing that though because I don't want the pill to be less effective because of me missing one tonight.
If I miss one tonight and do end up getting a new pack tomorrow, and then my Dr. switches me to a new brand, will me missing one of the brand I'm taking now still make the pill less effective? I guess I'm not sure what makes the pill less effective, I thought it was just missing pills but I'm not sure.
I agree with Judie in her post 20568.2, above.

Since I'm missing my pill tonight and getting a new pack tomorrow, should I just take two pills tomorrow to make up for the missed one today? And does it mean that the the bcp is less effective for forever just because I'll miss taking one tonight?
I'm also going to ask my dr. if I can switch to a different pill again because I'm still having BTB, it's lighter than the first pill he put me on but it's still there. If I switch isn't that like starting the whole cycle all over again? And your body has to get used to the new kind of pill?
