well after doing some reading on a few birth control boards i finally come to my decision not to go back on the pill(at least not now) one reason is because i tried to refill my pill this weekend so i could take it on sunday and it turns out that my pill is out of refills and my dr. denied refilling it till i get my yearly done(i tried to make an appt. for that but i was told that i had to call @ the end of the month to try to get in for january) so i had the choice of calling my dr. today and asking if she could give me refills till than but i decided that i could use this time to go off the pill and see how i feel and decide what i want to do when it comes time for my appt. second reason was i never really had side effects untill recently, not bad ones just annoying and i decided, do i really want to take the chance of waking up one day with something bad happening from the pill? no. i tend to worry to much..so it will be nice not to worry! though it did it job, i like the thought of being pill free for a couple months. but im thinking of going on the diaghram or cap...i figure if i chart with that it can be pretty effective till we are ready. i just hope im making the right choice! i got two months to really think about this and decide. my fiance says its completly up to me since its my body and im the one taking it. so i thought i would keep you posted.

Good for you! I think it's great that you are going with your instincts and going pill free for a while. I would really love to do that, but my husband does not trust barrier methods or natural family planning to do that just yet. Let us know how things go and how you feel while off the pills.
Best of luck to you!
Hi Ashly,
Jill
thanks.
actually i do have a question. which is better recomended? and are they hard to use, or a pain to use"pain" as in annoying?
>>which is better recomended? <<
Jill
thanks. : ) that helps. i will have to talk to my dr. at my yearly check up to find out if she can fit it and if not who she recommends.
idk if this is tmi or not but how do you know its in there right or covering all the way?
During the fitting process the fitter should show you how to insert and remove
Jill
i think that is it.
did you say in another message that you use it? or was it somebody else on the board? if it was you how do you like it overall? thanks i think thats it. lol.
I use a cervical cap as my primary method and a diaphragm during my period for flow control and contraception and love how well they work for me! A cervical barrier
