Ladies,

Quick question, I don't know how to explain myself so I'll tell you my symptom. This only happens to me when I'm starting to fall asleep and or happens as I'm crossing the line from conscious to unconscious, maybe??? My body jumps...all of the sudden. My husband says I also jump throughout the night (every now and then) while I'm sleeping. I know it sounds weird but could it be the BCP? I don't remember jumping like that when I was younger and not on BCP.

THANKS in advance for your replies.

Dh and I have this too. Dsd has it also (I guess from her dad), but her mom thinks she’s crazy and has never heard of it.
Dsd is 12 and I’m pretty sure dh and her symptoms are not caused by birth control. Lol!
I think you’re fine. It’s just a strange feeling, isn’t it? Almost like you’re trying to catch yourself from falling.

I do this occasionally also - usually if I fall asleep really quickly.
