Pregnant during period?

I know it is possible to get pregnant during my period, but what about if I'm taking birth control? I take Ortho-Tricyclen-Lo. The pills I take during my period are placebos, so do I need additional contraceptive during my period or do the hormones from the pills keep me protected all the time?

ditto....if you take the pills correctly (not skipping any-or taking at different time than usual) you are protected against pregnancy---even during your period....

As long as your on time EVERYDAY you have nothing to worry about. But also, you could be pregnant even if you get your period. Thats not your question, but I though I'd let other sexually active women know that as a courtesy!!! I might be the only person that didn't know that!
