I have trouble remembering to take my multivitamin in the morning, but I'm great about taking my bcp on time at night. Is there any reason why I can't take my pill and my vitamin at the same time every evening?

A standard multi-vitamin (without herbs like St. John's Wort or echinacea) shouldn't be a problem. The only vitamin I've heard of interacting with the pill is *large* doses of vitamin C (like some people take for cold prevention), but that interaction just increases some side effects, like breast tenderness. It doesn't reduce the effectiveness of the pill.

It's just a regular women's vitamin. I do take cranberry and acidophilus as well as an extra 50mg of vitamin B6, but I told my doc about those and she didn't say that was a problem. I guess I'm just being paranoid. Thanks!
