Has anyone tried using the NuvaRing?

Yesterday I posted a message about how my anxiety was so bad, I have decided to stop taking it, I talked to my boyfriend and we decided together that this was making me into a sad person and it was not worth it just so we didnt have to use a condom.

I am concerned about two things. Having anxiety again, has anyone with anxiety tried the nuvaring? has it been good in stablizing moods? was it easy to adjust to the hormones? Because its getting onto the pill that i have had problems with, like the first month.

Also, can the guy feel the ring? Would it make it uncomfortable for him?

Anyone who has tried this please comment :) thanks.

Well I don't have anxiety, but I do suffer from chronic depression.. (Some days I'll be fine, the next I feel as though I'm in the biggest, deepest darkest hole and will never be able to find my way out again. Just total ups and downs.) I haven't noticed that the ring has really made any difference at all, hasn't gotten better, hasn't gotten worse.

My husband has commented that he can feel

Well I have been on the nuva ring 3 months.I dont have anxienty but I have major mood swings on it, at least recently. Bad ones. My husband can feel the ring and does not like it, so we took it out several times during sex, and then right back in afterwards. But now I have not had a period on time. I just spotted slimy brown discharge and no bleeding at all. Hoping its not implant, but it looks like it is. I will know in a few days. Just a word of caution dont take the ring out if you decide to use it, eventhough it states you can as long as its not longer than 3 hours. I have a 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 8 1/2month old.I really hope I am not pregnant! But I am having all the symptoms.

i am in my second month of nuvaring. so far i like it. i think my body is still adjusting to it. i have cramps every now and then (aside from my ring-free week) but i normally have cramps on any b.c. i took for the first few months. my hubby isn't crazy about the ring. he doesn't feel it during sex, he just thinks it is gross (he also thinks tampons are gross, and periods, and discharge....so you get the idea!!!) overall though, i really like the convenience!
i haven't really noticed anything different about my moods. i have been using hormonal b.c. for over 10 years, nothing out of the oridinary.
if you think moodiness is related to your b.c., you should talk to your doctor. they can switch your pill to something else.

Well I like the nuvaring too, but I hate having to take it out all the time. Anyhow, I am hoping I start my period soon or that this month is just off for some reason. I do have mood swings but cant do the pill very well.I tried the shot but it made me bleed forever, patch made me clot, wont use condowm, allergic to female condoms, and the foam stuff my husband doesnt really like . I wish there was something else out there for us. Any suggestions?

Well I know about the IUD's. The one clinic dr. told me that my periods would be heavies and longer that what they were before I had kids. Mine were 7 days, so I chose not to do that.Plus I want one more child in a couple of years. At that point I am going to try the IUD, if it doesnt work for me after 6 months, then I will get my tubes tied. Anyhow thanks for the feedback!
