It's only been three days since I stopped birth control however, why isn't my anxiety and blah feelings going away? I though that it would be cured as soon as I was done them.

The thing thats really bugging me is that I dont feel close to my boyfriend, almost like I dont want to be wtih him, and nothing has brought this on other than when I started birthcontrol pills. I want to feel the love for him that I felt before. How can I get this back?! It's killing me inside.

Please help.

it might take you a while to get back to normal, if you are still concerned about it call your doctor. they might need to prescribe something to make you feel better.

Um, no not that simple.

It can take up to six months for your body to readjust after stopping the pill. It's not an instant recovery right after you stop taking it. You need to give your body a chance to figure out what's going on, and then you will notice over time that things will improve.

In the meantime, you and your boyfriend can work on the romance in your relationship so you can keep reminding yourself of why you fell in love with him in the first place.

Don't panic, things will return to normal with a bit of time. Also, you might want to look into some herbal supplements to help stabilise your moods, like B-vitamins.
