I have been taking Seasonale for about 2 1/2 yrs. I am horrible about taking them every day, usually its 3 pills every 3 days, so I could have ovulated. And I have stopped them before temporarily for one reason for another and never missed a period, I go back to being very regular. I have always had a period during the week of placebo's until now. I am 4 weeks past my last pill. and haven't had any bleeding with the exception of one afternoon of light spotting right after I quit taking them. I have not restarted the plls for fear I could be pregnant and didn't want to take any chances. I tested this morning and had a negative HPT. I called my OB/GYN and she said to wait another month.... then we should worry. I am already to the point of having missed one period and I should be having a second by now and have yet to see it as well. Another month? I need to be on my pills! We are not trying to get pregnant and don't really feel like we are ready to actively TRY or carelessly become parents. They offered for me to come in this afternoon and they would do a quick ultrasound and a blood test to make sure I am not pregnant. I am freaking out. If I am not pregnant, then what the hell is wrong with my body and if I am , then why hasn't a HPT showed it yet,(I could be as far along as 6 weeks). I just had my regular pap/check up on Oct. 25th so I can't be anything from before that.....what do you think?
