BCP and depression

I have been on BCPs for about 3-4 months and I have almost no side effects but the occasional breast tenderness every now and then. I got really depressed in the third week of taking them. It finally got to the point to where I was crying. After that week things went really smoothly. But for some reason the pharmacy keeps changing my pills! I was on lo/orval then this stuff called gly something, and now I am on low-ogestrel. I keep telling them lo/orval and they said it was the same stuff so I just went with it. But recently when I got to the end of the blanks I got extremely depressed and I know it has to do with the hormones because I rarely get depressed, and when I do I usually don't cry but I cried for almost 3 days straight this time. Could the stuff they have given me is really not the same as I suspected since I went 3-4 months with no depression?

Thanks for the responce, Thank goodness the depression only lasted a few days but it was awful, If it happens again I will request to go back to the one I had before, it is amazing to me how hormones can effect our feelings and the way we think. Also I will try the vitamin B as well.
